Book a Private Consultation

A consultation with Dr. Felix is an unhurried, in person appointment at the practice in Dubai Healthcare City. It is the starting point for every treatment and every membership. Nothing is prescribed, ordered or planned before you have been seen, examined and listened to.

How booking works

You contact the practice by phone or email and describe, in a few sentences, what you would like help with. The practice replies with the appointment options available and confirms a time with you directly. There is no automated booking form and no call centre. The person you speak to knows the diary and can answer practical questions about the appointment before you commit to it.

If your request is urgent or you are unsure whether this is the right service for your problem, say so when you make contact. It is better to clarify that early than to book an appointment that does not fit your needs.

What the first appointment covers

The first consultation is a full medical consultation, not a sales meeting. It usually follows the same structure:

  • Your goals and your history. What has been happening, how long it has been going on, what you have already tried and what you actually want to change.
  • Medical review. Past and current conditions, medication, supplements, allergies, family history, sleep, alcohol, training and work pattern.
  • Examination. A focused physical examination and baseline measurements relevant to your case.
  • Investigations. If blood tests or other investigations are needed, Dr. Felix explains which ones, why each one is being requested and what the result would change.
  • A plan in plain language. What the likely explanation is, what the options are, what each option involves and what happens next.

Where results are needed before a treatment decision can be made responsibly, the decision waits for the results. You will be told this clearly rather than being started on something provisional.

What to bring

  • Any recent blood test or imaging reports, ideally as the original laboratory report rather than a summary.
  • A list of every medication and supplement you take, with doses.
  • Letters or discharge summaries from previous doctors, if you have them.
  • Your Emirates ID or passport for registration.
  • Any device or app data you rely on, such as blood pressure readings or continuous glucose data, if it is relevant.

If you do not have any of this, come anyway. Missing records slow things down slightly but they do not prevent a proper first consultation.

What happens after the consultation

You leave with a written plan and a clear idea of the cost of the next steps. Cost is discussed openly during the appointment. Investigations are billed at laboratory cost and medicines at pharmacy cost, and the way this is structured is explained on the pricing and program investment page. Where ongoing physician care makes more sense than single appointments, Dr. Felix will say so and explain the relevant membership program.

You can also read more about how Dr. Felix works before you book, including why the patient list is deliberately kept small and why one physician stays with your case from the first appointment onwards.
